Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire.  Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat. Note the cocktail hour and reception space is a short unpaved uphill walk from the ceremony please wear comfortable footwear.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors in the middle of towering red wood trees that accompany amazing scenery and lots of shade. The reception is a short uphill walk from the ceremony.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels. Our only request is that all cameras and phones be turned off and put away during our ceremony. We want our amazing photographer and videographer to catch your smiling faces and not your screens. We promise to share our pictures with you when we receive them! Feel free to take all the pictures and videos you want after the I Dos and dont forget to tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #Hickeyeverafter so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
