I'm Chelsea. Y'all probably already know me. Jenna and I met when we were college freshman at the University of Alabama back in 2009. Seems like a lifetime ago now. It's a loooooooooong story, so I will save the speech for the wedding. Jenna is one of the most kindhearted, selfless, badass, beautiful human beings I've ever met. She can go from crying to ready to beat someone's ass within the same minute. For the past 7 years, we have grown together and learned from each other to become the people we are now.

Tadao has a very polite demeanor at school or professional events, but I quickly uncovered what a "stupid idiot" (our inside joke) he was. :) He's alright I guess.

Hi, I'm Sasha! I met Jenna while working at the Lighthouse. One day she got assigned to my classroom and as true Miami girls, it didn't take long before we started chismosiando. Since then, we've been through it all- breakups, big moves, dance nights, a pandemic and so many happy moments. She's the most genuine person I know.

I first met Tadao when I was visiting the University of Miami for my doctorate. I was invited to sit in his lesson. Tadao was very quiet but still made me feel welcome. I honestly thought he didn't like me. When we first started to become friends it was during HMI and we both shared the same feeling about rehearsals and would grab a drink before rehearsals and concerts. It was like our ritual. We talked about our lives and it felt like we were both going through the same hardships. I knew I could lean on him for support and understanding without judgment. From then on it was history. I consider Tadao one of my best friends, not because he was there during a hard time, but because after it was said and done he still stuck around and showed me he was there for me no matter what. He was one of the few that got me through my doctorate in one piece.

Hi! I'm Frenchie! I met Jenna while working at St. Thomas Episcopal when she was working in Aftercare. I was teaching an outreach program through my Engineering program at FIU. We became friends and talked often, but I soon graduated from FIU and Jenna from Nova Southeastern and we lost contact. One day, I started listening to BTS and remembered that Jenna tried to get me into them when we worked together. I reached out to her and ever since then, our love for BTS has allowed us to grow together and to go on many adventures all over the country. I'm truly grateful to have such a caring and fun friend that is the true definition of a ride or die. I'm even more happy that she has finally found her other half. That truly loves her the way I know she deserves to be loved. Can't wait to celebrate a year of their marriage with everyone!

When I met Tadao, I noticed he was friends with Amy (my wife, but before we were even dating) and I wondered if they were dating. Perhaps I profiled him slightly, but hey they honestly seemed like a good match in my head. It was a few weeks later that I ready got to know him on NYE of 2022/2023. I told him that night that I loved Amy over shots of Don Julio 1942 Cristalino Anejo. After that night, I trusted him and could immediately tell he was very supportive of Amy and my relationship. I also relaxed a little bit on the dating theory (hehe). All jokes aside, Tadao is one of the finest gentlemen you could meet! He has class, skill, ethics, manners, punctuality, intellect, humor, and pure rizz, to say the least! I can say without a doubt that it's an honor to be is friend. I have a lot of respect for him. Hey! I'm Akino! I met Tadao through Jenna. I have known Jenna since 2016 through another friend. Jenna and I soon became close friends. I know I can always come to her for anything, and she can always come to me. She likes to call me her older brother figure. When Jenna first told me about Tadao, I could hear the excitement in her voice. From everything she told me about him, I knew he was a good match for her. Over the last year, Tadao and I have spoken over the phone whenever Jenna and I would talk to each other. Tadao really truly and deeply cares for Jenna, and I so happy she FINALLY found him. Tadao and I quickly clicked when we all went to Otakufest (anime convention). We have bonded over our love of One Piece specifically. I'm excited to celebrate Jenna and Tadao's love with everyone in June!
