To allow all wedding guests a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we respectfully was that no one under the age of 18 attend the wedding. Please give your little ones a hug for us!
We will not be cancelling or rescheduling our wedding. We are constantly talking with the venue and monitoring the COVID-19 trends to see if we need to make final changes for the day. We will continue to update this portion of the website as more guidelines are available but we are optimistic conditions will continue to improve by this fall! Also, we ask that if you are feeling unwell the day of the wedding, to please stay home.
We would love to see our family and friends get fancy with us! We are requesting a semi formal/cocktail dress code for our evening. Please, no jeans.
We kindly ask that you do not wear colors traditionally reserved for the bride — whites, ivories, blushes, etc. Other than that - wear whatever colors you like!
You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no”, so we can plan accordingly.
Yes. Centerstage Event Center in Eureka Springs has plenty of parking in front of the venue as well as to the side.
We are having an unplugged ceremony. This just means that we are asking that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. Why? Well, we’ve hired a professional to capture some of the important moments of our lives and we’d hate to have a well meaning person’s device blocking the moment for her to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many pictures as you like. If you choose to post them on social media please use the hashtag #doubledoseofdouglas
We addressed the invitations to the people we would love to come. If you recounted a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.
