NEST Tulum

We have rented out the entire boutique hotel for all family and friends starting Thursday, December 2 - Sunday, December 5. Aurelie Leloup (Sales & Marketing at NEST) will contact each guest directly to receive a 50% deposit and the remaining 50% 60 days before the wedding. For planning purposes, please let us know by August 1 that you will be attending the wedding. If you are interested in staying additional nights (before December 2 and/or after December 5) please let us know at your earliest convenience so we can work with Aurelie to confirm your stay at the same rate.

Shuttle

Airport Shuttle from Cancun to Tulum (Nest)

We offer airport transfer from and to Cancun airport. Should you require airport transportation, we kindly ask you to fill in the information below and return it back to reservation@destinationweddingstulum.com: - Name(s) and # of persons traveling with you: - ARRIVAL: Date / Time / Airline / Depart airport / flight number: - DEPARTURE: Date - Time / Airline / flight number: - Hotel in Tulum where you will be staying: - Phone number so we can contact you in case of delays at the airport: - Are you interested in sharing with other wedding guests (other guests might not arrive/depart at the same time as you but it will be within the hour)? YES / NO Price: $135 USD one way per shuttle for up to 8 people. About 2 weeks before the wedding we will send you the final confirmation and payment request. Payment is split between the number of wedding guests sharing the shuttle. Payment will be done via Paypal.

Taxis in Tulum

Taxi are safe and plentiful in Tulum. Just make sure you check the price before you get in. The taxis here do not use meters and the drivers will try to earn a bit extra when driving with tourists so if you think the price is a bit too high, just say no thank you and check with the next one. Taxis charge a bit more at night time.

Currency

In Tulum you can pay with Pesos or Dollars – A lot of places also accept credit cards but you will need cash for i.e. taxis. If you wish to withdraw money, we recommend using the ATMs in town as their fees are a lot less than the ATMs on the beach strip. HSBC and CI Banco in downtown Tulum are the best. If you bring USD, we recommend changing them to pesos in the “casa de cambio” in downtown Tulum.

Cell phone reception is almost non-existent along the hotel strip in Tulum but almost all hotels and restaurants offer WiFi.
