We met at Williams Baptist College, where Tabor was an incoming freshman and I was a sophomore. We had both signed up for the same piano class. Tabor was a handsome baseball player who immediately caught my eye and I knew I wanted to get to know him! We decided to hang out one night and we instantly connected. That wasn't our time though, because nothing really came of it and we stayed friends. Fast forward a few years... Around the beginning of October in 2017, Tabor started hinting around that he had feelings for me, but I wasn't sure the I felt the same. I wanted a man who would pursue me the right way and genuinely show me that he wanted me! Tabor was and is EXACTLY that man. After a few months passed and I realized that I was ready to go on a date, I called Tabor and told him I would love to go out with him! (Sorry it took me so long, babe!) A couple of weeks later, Tabor drove an hour to pick me up, shook my parents hands, opened my car doors, and treated me exactly how a woman deserves. It was the best first date.

Fast forward a year and Tabor takes me out to lunch with his sister. We all went and ate at Hoots (the best BBQ) and had the best time! When we got back, Kelsey asked me to run an errand with her. Little did I know this was a way to get me out of the house! When we got back, Tabor called me into the living room and told me that he had an early Christmas present for me. I walked in and on the tree was a note that said, “Your present is behind you.” When I turned around, Tabor was down on one knee with the most beautiful ring. He asked me to marry him and I *emotionally* replied yes! It was so sweet and I loved it!!
