Cliff notes version. Several years ago, his friend met my friend and got together. After many years of apparently being at the same annual New Year's Eve gathering, and our friends wedding (photo evidence established), the timing was finally right and we actually connected at that 2019 New Year's party. We didn't go a day without talking to each other since and here we are.

In January of 2021 we took a leap of faith and moved to Colorado together. After a little over a year of living in close quarters, traveling all over and getting to experience many wonderful places together, we took a particularly exciting trip. We went down to Pagosa Springs Colorado to go snow shoeing and soak in the natural hot springs. He picked a trail that led us to the top of a peak with spectacular views. As I got out my phone to take pictures he got something else out from his backpack while I wasn't looking. So there on the top of a mountain he offered me his Grandmother's ring. I mean would he have done it any other way?
