Our Story It all started in 2018 on Facebook. Yep, the classic “send a message and hope for the best” kind of start. We hit it off immediately—lots of laughs, long conversations, and a connection that felt instant. I had my two amazing kids, Zander and Harley, and Nick was his charming self, but life had other plans, and at the time, we both thought we weren’t meant to be. We went our separate ways, hearts still remembering the spark, but convinced it just wasn’t in the cards for us. Fast forward Six years to 2024. Somehow, fate (or maybe stubbornness) brought us back together. By then, I was still navigating life with Zander and Harley, and Nick had a beautiful three-year-old girl, Lainey. The moment we reconnected, it was like no time had passed at all—we laughed, joked, and fell in love all over again, like we never stopped. Falling in love this time wasn’t just about us—it was about the kids too. Lainey stole my heart immediately. Watching her laugh, learn, and play reminded me how love can grow in all directions. Nick’s gentle, patient, and endlessly caring way with Zander and Harley made me fall even harder for him. And seeing Our Bond as a family deepen every day has been one of the most beautiful parts of our story. Together, we didn’t just blend our lives—we blended our hearts, and it was chaotic, messy, and perfect all at once. We discovered that love isn’t just about butterflies—it’s about second chances, timing, and realizing that someone and their little humans are worth coming back to. And yes, it’s about late-night snacks, messy floors, and endless laughter. Now, after all the twists, turns, and perfectly imperfect timing, we’re ready to start the next chapter together.
