Question

What is the Latin Mass?

Answer

The Latin Mass is the traditional form of a Catholic Mass. Over 1900 years before the common English Catholic Mass (Novus Ordo) was created in 1965, there was the Tridentine Mass (more commonly known today as the extraordinary form or the Latin Mass). This Mass has ancient, beautiful prayers in Latin, the universal language of the Catholic church. We chose the Extraordinary Form for our wedding because it's what we connect to most in our relationship with God. There will be pamphlets available to guide you through the Mass, allowing you to follow along and pray with us.
