Officiant
Our friendship blossomed while working at Hutchinson AVS. From after-work happy hours to indulging in burgers at Stella's, our bond grew stronger over meals and shared moments. Marie's dedication to training for marathons and Ironman competitions often turned into her dragging me out there to walk and stay active - even if it meant her needing to find me after getting lost. Our slumber parties, especially during tense Dexter episodes, brought comfort as we both would get scared watching them. Though Marie eventually traded the cold weather for the warm sun of California, the memories we have created will remain. Five months into our relationship, Jon and I traveled to visit Marie and her family. It's truly an honor to have her stand by us on one of the most important days of our lives, uniting us in love and friendship.
Tabby's Best Friend and Giver of Speeches
Back in 1996, Amy and I met at work-and to be honest, it was not an instant connection. In fact, we pretty much drove each other crazy. I thought she was a total know-it-all, and she thought I was bossy (I mean....fair). We were on 3rd shift, bleary-eyed and undercaffeinated. One magical Friday morning, we found ourselves at the bar at 7am-because that's what third-shifters do instead of breakfast. Somewhere between the jukebox, singing loudly and sipping a few cocktails, we actually talked. And just like that, we saw each other for who we really were. From that morning on, something shifted. We weren't just coworkers-we were a team. A dynamic duo on the assembly line. Three decades later, we still laugh about that rocky start. Turns out, sometimes your favorite people are the ones you least expect-especially if you're both sleep-deprived and meeting over breakfast cocktails!

Jenny & I began our friendship back in high school. We instantly connected over our shared love of choir and theatre, and our bond grew stronger through the time we spent together at church, even teaching Sunday School side by side. Though life has taken us in different directions over the years, every time we reconnect-whether for crafts, games or just a chat-it feels as if no time has passed at all. There's never any awkwardness, only the comfort of picking up right where we left off, as if our friendship has simply been paused, not diminished. Now, with Jon in my life, it's been such a joy to reconnect as couples-getting together for game nights that are always full of laughter and fun.
