It was on the cusp of a new millennium that Tabitha and Jared desired to learn the "Language of Love." Little did they know that signing up for lessons in French would lead them on a journey which would bring them both back together, for life. Our story starts there, in that classroom so long ago, where they were seated alphabetically. Few students with a last name beginning with "F" attended Pass High, and none decided to partake in le Francais that year. As fate would have it, Tabitha ended up in the desk just ahead of Jared. Not long after class began a courtly friendship developed. This friendship continued, distantly, through the years. Social media allowed them to keep in touch, and each saw the other in passing from time to time, but Tabitha's travels and Jared's career both kept them busy. Fast forwarding through the years finds us in October of 2016 at a car dealership, of all places. A little car lot in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania just happened to have a certain model car which Jared had admired since he was a young man, the 1969 Ford Mustang. After a flight to Philly and a short test drive, Jared was on his way home in that car. His drive back to Pensacola, FL would take him south, passing Tabitha's current home of Columbia, SC. Thinking it would be nice to see her again and wanting to catch up on life's adventures, he decided to see if she was free the evening he would be in town. She obliged and they toured the area, talking, walking, and rediscovering the connection started almost 20 years ago and more than 500 miles away from "The Pass."
