From "Hello" to "I do", this love was meant to be.

Ellis and Tabitha’s story began in Salt Lake City, where they both lived for about 3 years. Though they were both born on Wednesday and came from similar academic paths, both having studied chemical engineering, the way they experienced the world was strikingly different. They met at an event on an ordinary day that would soon take on extraordinary significance in their lives. Their first interaction was simple and unforced, sparked by shared common interests. What began as a casual conversation quickly unfolded into something more meaningful. As their conversations continued, another layer of connection emerged: faith. Both Ellis and Tabitha were on personal journeys of learning, growing, and understanding their purpose to God and service to Mankind. This wasn’t something either of them treated lightly or superficially. It was a central part of how they understood purpose, direction, and identity. While they didn’t have all the answers, they shared a commitment to seeking, learning, and aligning their lives with something greater than themselves. That shared direction became one of the strongest pillars of their relationship. Music, hiking, biking, and pickle ball are few activities they enjoy doing together. Like any meaningful relationship, theirs was not without challenges. There were moments of misalignment and difficulties. But instead of allowing those moments to divide them, they used them as opportunities to grow. Their story is not one of perfection or predictability. It does not follow a rigid formula or a neatly structured plan. Instead, it is a story of alignment of two people growing individually and choosing to grow together. Their love story is not just about how they met. It is about how they chose each other again, and again, while growing closer to God and becoming who they were meant to be, together.
