Chris' brother, Josh, was coaching hockey at Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh. Chris went to visit Josh and took Josh and his girlfriend, Jenna, to the Pittsburgh Penguins hockey game. As they were leaving the arena after the game, Chris saw two women about to throw away their half-full drinks. Chris yelled over, "You aren't gonna toss those are you?" Tabi walked over to Chris, "Why, you gonna chug with me?" We finished our drinks and talked for a few minutes. After exchanging phone numbers, we texted each other that night and ended up spending time together the next few days. After months of going back and forth from Pittsburgh to the Twin Cities, we got engaged!
