The Beginning of Forever

We met each other all the way back in the summer of 2016. We both thought the other person was cute and we got along well, but we still pursued other people. I lived my life, he lived his. Both of us still in each other's lives. A few years in, we ended up having a falling out. We stopped talking for a couple of years. Then one night we both ended up at the same bar. We literally bumped into each other, both not realizing it was even the other person. And just like that, we ended up talking until the bar closed down. After that night, and for the next few months we rekindled our friendship. Next thing you know, we slowly looked forward to just talking to the other person. Saying good-morning and goodnight, laughing about something silly, turned into a routine. We decided one evening we would meet at his house to hang out. We were both nervous. We just ended up talking and laughing and next thing you know it was 4 am. The next night we ended up doing the same exact thing, just talked all night long. Finally, on the third day we ended up at her place watching movies and cuddling on the couch. We finally shared our first kiss. From that weekend on, we have just been inseparable. From finding out we were pregnant, to moving in together, to navigating life as parents and learning how to love each other. We fell in love. Every single day. The deep appreciation we have for the other person, both thinking we're the luckiest person in the world to have the other. We've created something so special, something that we want forever.
