If you're looking for something historical and educational, the National Mississippi River Museum is a fun place to check out. They have different sections that go from fresh water to the ocean, and cover historic boat making, Native American culture and artifacts, and ocean preservation.
The Arboretum is a little bit of a drive, but well worth it! It is beautiful, and it is also free to attend! We especially love the Japanese garden.
Although we haven't been here, friends who have been and who worked there strongly recommend it. We would love a chance to visit with you!
Sounds like fun!
Fun little tours!
Come visit! They often have fun workshops and Friday Night Outs.
We saw Beauty & the Beast here, and it was wonderful!
Whether it's to play, take a stroll, or visit the petting zoo, Bever Park is lovely.
We love the hike that goes right along the river! At different times of the year you can even venture out across the dam and onto the sandbar.
Great one-stop geek shop!
