When and where is the wedding?

Our wedding will take place on Saturday, November 15th in Destin, Florida. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in this beautiful destination!

What is the best way to travel to the destination?

Answer

The nearest airport is Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS). We recommend booking flights early for the best prices. Transportation options from the airport include taxis, shuttles, and rental cars. Also, if you're looking into a road trip as a reference Destin is a 9.5 hour drive from Rock Hill.

In the Travel section of the site we have listed nearby accommodations. Each hotel suggested there is within a 5 minute drive from the family home/wedding venue.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be Semi-Formal. Please dress comfortably for the Fall Florida climate. Take into consideration the ceremony and reception will be outdoors.

Will there be transportation provided?

Answer

Please book your own transportation and rental cars for the weekend. We will provide transportation from the parking location to the wedding venue and back. Details on pickup times will be shared closer to the date.

November is a great time to be in Destin, Florida, because the weather is usually mild and sunny. The average high temperature in November is 76 degrees Fahrenheit, with an average low of 60 degrees.

Are kids allowed?

Our wedding will be a full family affair and a kid-friendly event. Be sure to include them in your RSVP so we can be sure to accommodate all guest.

Should I bring a wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence is the best gift! However, if you’d like to give something, we would appreciate monetary gifts or gift cards to help us start our new journey together.

If I am staying at the Family house, how do I send my room payment?

Answer

If you are staying at the family house, payments can be made via Venmo, PayPal, cash or check for your room payment. Be sure to include "Family House" in the notes of your payment. Remember that you have the option to pay in instalments of April, June, and September. An initial payment must be made in April and the final payment is due September 15th.
