We went here on Valentine's weekend last year - great beer and food!
Len took me to the Biltmore over Christmas in 2013...only 7 months of dating and in love with traveling together! It's a gorgeous house to tour and the botanical gardens. Don't forget to try the FREE wines in the tasting room!! If you want to walk around the estate, there are easy walking trails all around. *note* tickets must be purchased to access the grounds.
After visiting the Biltmore, the next morning we had breakfast here. SO worth the short wait time! Delicious food in a chill, off-the-beaten path part of Asheville.
I got the shrimp n grits...amazing food in the heart of downtown Asheville area. A must try of delicious southern food.
Gorgeous views - you can hike along the parkway, but if you're not into the hiking take the drive! There are plenty of places to pull off at scenic look-outs and get some wonderful photos!
Walk along the French Broad river and enjoy the local, wonderful artists in Asheville. Len and I have toured through several studios over our visits to Asheville.
Beautiful college campus very close to Hidden River.
Good brews!
Good place to grab a beer and snack!
This is where we got engaged, it is a beautiful hike and view at the top. There are other trails in the area too. If you are going to go on our wedding day, be sure to start out early so you're back in time :-)
Nice easy walking and pretty views.
This is a good, laid back place to grab a burger.
We scoped this place out in January. Super delicious tacos - go ahead and get 3!
