What does cocktail attire mean?

Answer

To us, it means your fancy, comfortable clothes. Not sweatpants. You won't be turned away if you wear sweatpants though. Early April is a variable time of year weather-wise, so use your best judgement to dress comfortably. We’ll do our best to accommodate based on the forecast. For gents, most are wearing suits and ties. Your nice pair of khakis with a nice button down is also welcome. You may want a suit coat of some kind, as it's looking chilly. For gals, a nice dress or dress pants with a nice blouse. Some are wearing floor-length dresses, some wearing calf-length. Just remember to dress comfortably enough to be outside for 30-45 minutes. Coats can be put up inside the venue at any time.
