John: As many of you know, we have been together for quite a while. We first met in 6th grade when we were 12 years old in gym class at Willink Middle School. Emily immediately caught my eye, but it took me a while to come to my senses and actually ask her to be my girlfriend. After a poor decision to break up with her, I quickly realized she was the only one for me. Another couple of years and a lot of flirting finally got me back in her (and Marc’s) good graces. She still tells me the advice he gave her to “never kiss the same frog twice if he was not a prince the first time”. Thank god she didn’t listen to that one. Once we started dating again in 10th grade, I quickly came to realize that Emily wasn’t just a beautiful girl who was good at sports. She is by far the most intelligent, hard-working, compassionate, and caring person I have ever met, and she actually might be just as weird as I am, which is hard to believe. Through the tough years apart at Geneseo and Penn State to the amazing years we have spent together in New England, I can honestly say I have fallen more in love with each passing day. I’m so excited to celebrate with everyone in August! Emily: John is truly the most caring, sensitive, quirkiest, goofiest person I have ever met. His love and support during school and throughout these past years has been invaluable. I am so grateful that I landed my dreamy 6th grade crush who I still fall head over heels for everyday. I cannot wait to celebrate our love with you all in August 2021! Bring your dancin’ shoes!
