Alex and I met on the dating app Hinge in Miami, Florida. We had a great couple of months together going to the Keys, biking to South Beach and exploring Miami’s food scene. It came time for Alex to move onto third year medical school rotations in Baltimore and we decided to try out long distance until he could possibly return to Miami. One adorable double-doodle named Pinot, lots of Southwest Reward points, and four years later… we are still doing the distance! Alex is now located in Reading, Pennsylvania completing two more years of his anesthesiology residency while I’m living and practicing as an anesthetist in Washington, D.C. -as close as possible. It is certainly not an ideal situation but we make the most of our weekends together and know that our relationship is stronger because of it. We look forward to celebrating our special day with all of you!
