We're so excited to celebrate with you!

It was a beautiful day in the summer of 2016 when John got a call to come to the city for a rooftop party. Although last minute, John decided…. why not!? When John arrived, he almost immediately met Katie. Throughout the day and into the night with their friends, Katie and John shared conversation, drinks, and many laughs (and too many trust falls…). Since then, they have not gone a single day without talking to each other! Fast forward to the summer of 2018, Katie and John took the next step and moved in together. Although the space was small, Katie and John effortlessly continued their journey together in their new home. After the first two years of living together, COVID came along. With the two of them now forced to work from home, they knew they needed more space. In April of 2020, they moved again and although the world’s circumstances posed challenges, the two remained strong. If they could get through quarantine, they could get through anything! Without a doubt in his mind, John decided that it was time for him to propose. On October 24th, 2020, John took Katie out to her favorite restaurant for brunch. Little did she know, there was a big surprise ahead. On the way out, John ordered the Uber… except, he entered the destination of their first apartment. Once they arrived, Katie’s confusion now very apparent, John finally explained. He said that although small, dark, and sometimes cold, their first apartment held a special place in his heart, as it was there that he realized he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. John got down on one knee, pulled out a ring, and popped the big question. Now in tears (always), Katie responded- YES!!! The two proceeded back home where their families were waiting to celebrate with them. This brings us to today, where Katie and John are beyond thrilled to be getting married on April 23rd, 2022.
