We are not having a black tie dress code - but with that being said, we want everyone to look and feel their best! For ladies, consider wearing a light/breathable dress that fits the 'coastal cocktail' vibe - no length requirement. For gentleman, consider wearing suit pants and a sports coat. No need for a tie if you aren't comfortable with one! For all, make sure you wear shoes that you are able to walk in. The ground at Mingo Point is not paved and has a lot of natural textures (pine straw, packed ground, etc.). We would advise ladies against wearing stiletto heels or any shoes with a thin heel. No sneakers or flip flops please.
The Kiawah Island Resort offers a shuttle for guests staying at “The Sanctuary” Hotel and at Kiawah Resort Villas. If you plan to stay at the Andell Inn or at an Air bnb/Vrbo on the island - a shuttle will be provided to get you to and from the ceremony/reception and back to your villa at the end of the night!
Yes! Once the invitations are sent, we will kindly ask you to also include an RSVP for the welcome party on Friday April 10, 2026 in the evening. The welcome party will be at the Cougar Point clubhouse at Kiawah Island Golf Resort.
TBD! The island has a strict noise ordinance ending at 10pm. We are in the process of finding accommodations for an “after hours” party upon conclusion of the reception at 10pm.
As much as we love your children, we have decided to have an adult only evening.
