They say the only thing in life that is consistent is change. In 2017 Phillip & Sylvina were at a point in life where change was inevitable. God knew where they were individually and had them in a space of healing and trusting him for direction. With change and situations out of one’s control, it creates a level of uncertainty. Change also makes it hard to trust people and bring walls down with people you aren’t familiar with. It takes people with big hearts to trust, share and show compassion to others while they are in the Valleys of life. This is where Phillip & Sylvina became friends. The friendship originated out of kind hearts, true compassion, and checking in occasionally on each other’s well being. As time went by Phillip & Sylvina grew in friendship and began to notice qualities that most wouldn’t notice if just on the surface. Phillip’s quiet demeanor on the surface hid his funny and outgoing side. Sylvina’s guarded and hard exterior hid her big heart and quirky ways. Once they noticed how their differences interlocked with each another, they noticed the possibility that they could see a future together. Phillip & Sylvina connected in a way that even they didn’t expect . They also worked well in ministry together in church, visiting sick, visiting people in prison and outreach for those homeless and in need. After an unusual journey, Phillip & Sylvina fell in love and decided to give love a chance. I’m sure they can tell their story much better and in more detail.
