What should I wear?

Cocktail attire This is slightly less formal than black tie and black tie optional, which means no tux required for men and no floor-length gown required for women (unless you'd like to wear a long dress, which is popular for winter wedding attire). He should wear: A suit and tie. Lean toward darker hues in chillier months. She should wear: A cocktail dress, long dress or dressy suit or jumpsuit. Also, remember to bring something to keep yourself warm as you go from inside to outside.

Where should I park for the ceremony at Stanford Memorial Church (450 Serra Mall aka 450 Jane Stanford Way)?

Area Parking Parking for Memorial Church may be found along the Oval at the end of Palm Drive. Roth Way and Museum Way, off Palm Drive, also provide parking. Please check parking signs carefully – “A,” “C,” and “shared” resident/commuter lots are enforced Monday-Friday, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. You are free to park in these areas after enforcement hours. The Parking Structure 1 at the corner of Roth Street and Campus Drive is the nearest parking structure. The cost is $1.50 per hour Monday-Friday, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. For large events, please allow at least 30 minutes for parking and walking to Memorial Church.

How do I get from the church to the reception?

From Stanford Memorial Church 450 Serra Mall (aka 450 Jane Stanford Way), Stanford, CA 94305 To Mullins Bar & Grill 2 Miramontes Point Rd #2, Half Moon Bay, CA 94019 This trip will take 50 minutes to an hour and 20 minutes. We recommend renting a car for ease, though you can take Lyft or Uber. Lyft charges about $38 for up to 4 passengers and a Lux Lyft for 4 runs $107. If you are traveling in a party of 6, the rates are $70 for a Lyft XL or $162 for a Lux Black XL. Uber rates for 4 passengers run $49 for UberX and $158 for Black. For parties of 6, their rates are $82 for Uber XL and $187 for Black SUV.
