Emmanuel and Sylvia first crossed paths in 2013 at the Church of Pentecost, San Bernardino's Gospel concert. Minister Otu had ministered "Guide Me O Thou Great Jehovah" that evening and after the program, Sylvia approached him with a compliment. From that day forward, the two became casual friends and pursued their different lives until they decided to take their friendship to the next level in September of 2015.

A day after Sylvia's college graduation, Emmanuel organized a surprise grad party where he gave Sylvia the shock of a life time. Not only did he manage to throw her a surprise party with the help of her close friend Molly, but he also found this as a wonderful opportunity to go down on one knee and pop the question to his Tesoro. Talk about a surprise within a surprise. With great astonishment, Sylvia said YES!

This September, Emmanuel and Sylvia are requesting the honor and presence of their family and friends to celebrate with them as they grace this wonderful union in a grand style.
