The first time I ever met Colin was when he came over to my dorm room to visit my roommate. He was quick to make himself feel right at home. I thought to myself, "Oof. I don't know if I can handle this kid coming over all the time." After talking to my roommate later, I decided he really wasn't that bad. ;) Those orange curls did something to me. She gave him my number. We had our first date on September 15, 2015 and have been together ever since. It's crazy how quick true love goes, but that's exactly how our relationship went. The semesters seemed to fly by at SDSU and before we knew it, we moved in together. Colin graduated from college in May of 2018. With four semesters left of college for me, Colin commuted back and forth to Brookings from the farm to support me as I finished up my degree in education. In true Colin fashion, he proposed to me in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico on January 2, 2019 while on family vacation. Still on cloud 9 from our engagement, we moved to Madison in May of 2019 to be closer to the farm and so I could finish my degree at DSU. The final countdown is on. We can't wait for June 13, 2020 and to celebrate our love with all of you who mean the most to us.
