What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is summer cocktail party attire. Bright colors and floral prints are encouraged. There will be lots of grass, so it might be best to avoid tall heels.

How to get to the wedding?

Answer

We are providing a shuttle service for all guests and would strongly prefer that you utilize that. If you have extenuating circumstances that require you drive yourself to the venue, we will need to know this ahead of time. Carpooling is recommended as there will be very limited parking available on site.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have 20 rooms blocked at the Golden Gables Inn in North Conway. These are first come first serve with discounted rates that will expire June 1st. You can book with the hotel after the discount rates expire or after the 20 rooms are booked, but you will not get the discounted rate. Booking info is on the Travel page of our website. If you have more luxurious tastes or the hotel is fully booked, there are several other hotels in close proximity to Golden Gables.

Should I bring gifts to the wedding?

Answer

As we will all be traveling to the wedding, we would prefer that gifts be delivered to our home whenever possible. This can be in person if you choose, but it is also convenient for gifts to be delivered to our home when you purchase them online. Cards and other small gifts can be exchanged at the wedding.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Our RSVP deadline is July 15th. This gives us and our vendors plenty of time to plan and organize for the big day.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to celebrate with those we know and love. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather in Fryeburg tends to be comfortable during the day and cool at night around this time of year. Average high is 71F (21.5C) around 3pm and average low is 51F (10.5C) around 6pm.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding will be entirely outdoors. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside in the open, and the reception will be outdoors under a large tent. Should it rain, the ceremony will be moved to the large tent.
