Sylvestra and Oscar first met after attending several community events throughout the city, and being introduced through a mutual friend. They both noticed that they would continue to run into one another, was this fate? Each time however, she was very shy and nervous, but after Oscar and the Mayor attended the ribbon cutting ceremony for her first clinic, she eventually asked Oscar out to meet for lunch. To this day, she still says it was only a "business" meeting- Oscar thinks otherwise. Of course, Oscar could not say no to this invitation as he was very intrigued with Sylvestra. How could he not be, she was beautiful, educated, wonderful to be around, actually very funny and of course a successful entrepreneur. This "business" meeting was the start of their amazing eight-year friendship, mutual partnership and forever love story. Together they both enjoy each others' quirks, traveling, watching and attending sporting events (Brewers spring training, Packer games & of course, soccer!), eating great food (Oscar loves to cook, she loves to eat!) and listening to very different styles of music, her- Banda, him- Jazz. Oscar tends to tune out the Banda music, especially when Sylvestra starts to sing like she is part of the band. Throughout these wonderful years together, they continue to enjoy their differences and know that they are so lucky to have found each other. The Proposal: Under the beautiful blue skies of Punta Cana, the hot and humid Caribbean sun and the sound of the ocean waves, Oscar pulled off an incredible surprise proposal. Sylvestra's facial expression of shock and tears of joy didn't allow her to think straight, so Oscar had to ask twice! We are very excited for you to join us as we embark onto the next chapter of our lives together, at our destination wedding in Riviera Maya, Mexico on Tuesday, November 8th, 2022.
