Caleb and Sarah met in Albuquerque, New Mexico the good 'ol millennial way- Hinge (online dating app for those that don't know ;)) Caleb had been living in NM since his time in the Air Force and Sarah had been there for about 6 months after moving for a job at the VA. They met in February 2020.. right before the world shut down in March 2020 due to COVID. Luckily, by that point, Caleb and Sarah were inseparable! Sarah says she knew after the second date that Caleb was special - she wasn't quite sure Caleb was interested after the first date when she *shocking* couldn't stop talking. To her surprise, Caleb asked her back out the very next day... Living through a pandemic together definitely makes or breaks a relationship (especially a new one!) but Caleb and Sarah remained strong and supported each other. July 4, 2021, Caleb definitely surprised Sarah when he asked her on the top of the Sandia Mountains while they were out hammocking if she would be his wife.. the easiest "Yes!" ever! Through the pandemic and lockdown, Sarah and Caleb realized they were missing loved ones back East and wished to be closer as they start married life. Caleb had a job transfer opportunity with Siemens in Charleston, South Carolina and Sarah, who LOVES Charleston, said to jump on it! Caleb received his job offer and Sarah found and accepted a job at MUSC as a speech-language pathologist. Better yet, moving to Charleston has made wedding planning in Seabrook MUCH easier! :) Caleb, Sarah, and of course Fendi can't wait to officially be a family in September! And we can't wait to celebrate our lives together with YOU!
