The suggested attire is Island Wear, which Sydonia interprets as "cozy summer comfort". Yes this means flip flops, island shirts, sun dresses and so on...Lets just make this clear, this is not a formal attire event, be prepared to play! Our simple church ceremony will be followed by an outdoor BBQ and pig roast in the park. We want this to be a comfortable, fun and laidback celebration. An event where family and friends can just hangout and relax. New Jersey in July is generally hot and humid. Barring a hurricane, the reception is on rain or shine so please plan and dress accordingly.
We are not accepting gifts. Your presence is all we need.
Yes! Pets are welcomed at the reception; there is ample space for our canine friends at Roosevelt Park. However, pets are not allowed at the Church. If you are inclined to bring a furry companion The Heldrich Hotel in New Brunswick is pet friendly (See the accommodation page for details).
Vaccinations are strongly encouraged, but not required for attendance. Masks are strongly encouraged during the ceremony and for those using the shuttle service. The reception will be outdoors with space for social distancing based on your comfort level.
