This asian bar and grill has some of our favorite foods..this is our default date night restaurant. Sam likes to switch up his order. He likes the new wave pad thai, Louie's hangover fried rice, and general ling's chicken. Sydni's favorite sushi from here is the double dragon roll or the lochness. We can never leave without ordering the banana caramel spring roll! Best of all...they have a location in Boise AND Meridian!
This sushi bar has the best all you can eat sushi. Sam doesn't like eating raw fish and even he finds sushi he likes here! Sydni on the other hand...she will eat any sushi they have. They don't take reservations, but you can add your name to the waitlist before heading that way to get seated quicker!
If you're one for going on walks, try walking along the greenbelt! The greenbelt is a 25-mile long path that follows the Boise River through the heart of the city, provides beautiful views, and passes by multiple parks. Head to the website to see where you can get to the greenbelt near you!
If you don't want to spend money exploring the area, freak alley is the place to go! Freak alley is an ever-changing mural on the walls of buildings between 8th and 9th street in downtown boise. Local artists get to showcase their work and its a great photo-op!
If haunted old prisons aren't your thing, take a stop by the Idaho botanical gardens! This garden covers around 15 acres of what was once the penitentiary. Walking through the entire garden takes around 60-90 minutes. They even sometimes hold concerts here!
