FAQs

The Wedding Website of Sydni Vanover and John Guillory II
If you have any other questions that are not listed below please reach out. We would love to hear from you and cannot wait to celebrate with you!
Question

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm. Please arrive 30 minutes before to guarantee that you have adequate time to park and find a seat before the ceremony starts.

Question

IS THERE PARKING FOR THE CEREMONY/ RECEPTION?

Answer

Yes! There will be people directing traffic. You will be guided to park behind the barn.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We ask that you celebrate in style with us! To set the tone of our big day we are requesting muted/dark colored formal/cocktail attire. Ladies can wear floor length, midi-length, or cocktail length dresses. Men can wear a suit and tie or formal dress pants with a button down and tie. Please note that if weather permits we will be having an outdoor ceremony, please bring a light jacket/shawl.

Question

ARE MY KIDS WELCOME?

Answer

We love your little ones-we really do! However, we have made the decision to keep our ceremony and reception an adult only event.

Question

CAN I TAKE PICTURES?

Answer

We are having an “unplugged” ceremony. This means we are asking that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. Why? Well we hired a professional to capture some of the most important moments of our lives and we’d hate to have a well-meaning person’s phone blocking that moment for them to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want! We promise to share the ceremony photos as soon as we get them!

Question

CAN I BRING A GUEST/DATE?

Answer

If you received a plus one, it will kindly say so on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP. Otherwise, we would love to keep our wedding as intimate as possible with close friends and family.

Question

WHEN IS THE RSVP DEADLINE?

Answer

Please RSVP by December 1, 2025

Question

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I CANNOT MAKE IT OR HAVEN’T RSVP’D IN TIME?

Answer

If you cannot make it you will be dearly missed but we do understand. Please let us know at your earliest convenience so we can update the headcount for our vendors. If you have missed the RSVP deadline, please understand that we have to update our guest list accordingly to provide to our vendors and cannot accept late responses.
