Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The event is semi-formal/evening cocktail, but anything you want to wear we are sure will be ok. The bride requests you refrain from wearing a wedding dress, although she prefers that to you going naked.

When does the last ferry leave?

Answer

Currently the last ferry to Edmonds leaves at 11:45pm and the last ferry to Seattle leaves at 12:15pm. Please check the ferry schedule on the day of the event— due to covid-19 the schedules may very.

Can i bring a date?

Answer

The number of seats reserved for your party has been indicated on your invitation.

Outside food/drink & smoking:

Answer

There are designated outdoor areas for tobacco. Due to venue policy, outside food, drinks, and marijuana products are prohibited. They will shut down the wedding for violations. Note: the only exception is food for an infant child.

Is there a shuttle to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, check out our Travel & Accommodations page for all the info you need. ***the shuttle is currently not running. Please check the resorts webpage for updates.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All events will be indoors. Weather permitting, there will be a bonfire on the beach! (a coat is recommended)

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Please let our photographers handle photos at our unplugged ceremony. However, we do encourage you to take and post pictures at the reception! Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #therhoad(s)tohays so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
