FAQs

The Wedding Website of Sydney Snaith and William Mays
Question

What airport should I use?

Answer

We suggest flying into San Diego International Airport.

Question

How do I get to the wedding?

Answer

We recommend renting a car if you’re coming from out of town. Sacred Mountain is located in Julian, which is about 60 miles northeast of San Diego and about 140 miles south of Los Angeles. Directions from San Diego: Take I-8 East toward El Centro. Take exit 40 for CA-79 North toward Julian. Follow CA-79 North for about 30 miles into Julian. Sacred Mountain is located near the heart of Julian; detailed directions and parking information will be provided with your invitation. Please allow extra travel time as the roads are mountain highways and can be winding.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We highly recommend staying in Julian the night before the wedding (Friday) to make your travel on the wedding day as stress-free as possible. Please keep in mind that most Airbnbs and VRBOs in the area require at least a two-night minimum stay. While Sacred Mountain does have on-site rooms, these have been reserved for our wedding party only. Overnight guests are not permitted at Sacred Mountain unless they are registered through our wedding planner and the venue. For more information refer to our STAYS page for links and suggestions on where to stay in Julian. Thank you for planning ahead — we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to space limitations at Sacred Mountain, plus ones are only allowed if specifically named on your formal invitation. Thank you so much for understanding and helping us keep our guest list intimate. If you’re unsure whether you have a plus one, please reach out to the bride or groom.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by February 15, 2026 so we can finalize our headcount and make all the necessary arrangements. Your timely response means so much to us — thank you!

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

So happy you received your Save the Date. Our RSVP page will be available once the formal invitations go out. We can’t wait to celebrate with you.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Expect temperatures to be in the low 70s during the day and in the low 40s during the night. We recommend packing layers.

Question

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Sacred Mountain is an outdoor venue. The ceremony and reception will be outside. Heat lamps will be provided as the temperature cools at night. The wedding will be outside rain or shine.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Sacred Mountain is an outdoor venue, so we recommend bringing layers. The ceremony at Sunset Plateau is grassy so we do not recommend high heels or platforms unless you would like to aerate the lawn. The reception is paved with a staircase or gravel ramp that leads to a dance floor. You will be most comfortable in block heels, wedges, or flats. We’re only doing this once, so dress to impress, aka semi-formal attire suggested. Please no denim!

Question

Where is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at the same location, Sacred Mountain: 2063 Farmer Rd Julian, CA 92036

Question

What time is the ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony will begin at 3:30PM PST. Reception to immediately follow.

Question

Is there parking available near the ceremony and reception venues?

Answer

Parking is located on site. Attendants will be available to guide you. Golf cart transportation will be provided for guests to and from the ceremony site.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Your Presence is the Best Gift Please don’t feel obliged to give us a gift — having you celebrate with us is truly all we wish for. If you would like to give something, a contribution toward our honeymoon would mean the world to us and help us create memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you so much for your love and support!

Question

What time is the reception scheduled to end?

Answer

The reception is scheduled to end around 10:00PM as San Diego County has a noise ordinance. You are more than welcome to continue the fun wherever you are staying in Julian.
