Though we had always known of each other, we didn’t start talking until our college years, visiting our friends at Western Michigan both being considered “honorary broncos”. After an eventful parents weekend in 2015, we began growing closer, hanging out more, eventually started dating, and haven’t looked back. In seven years together, we’ve grown from a couple of goofy kids visiting friends and partying to dedicated dog parents who’d much rather spend a night in with a book. And now that Kevin FINALLY popped the question, we are ready to spend forever together!

Kevin’s only goal had been to surprise Syd with the proposal, so he came up with an idea. With a trip to Boston looming, where he knew Syd would expect him to propose, he instead spent countless hours hollowing out an old Harry Potter book, and caught her completely off guard, asking her on a random Thursday night after she got home from work. The wait was finally over. We look forward to spending the rest of our lives together, and look forward to celebrating with all of you in March!
