FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is Beach Formal—think elevated, elegant, and coastal! We encourage light fabrics, soft colors, and dressy styles that are comfortable for a seaside celebration. If you’re unsure about what to wear or have any questions, feel free to text Sydney Rose!

Question

Can I wear white?

Answer

We’re saving white, ivory, cream, and similar shades especially for the bride on our wedding day. And gentlemen, this applies to you too! We completely understand that a white undershirt may be unavoidable, but we kindly ask that suits and other visible attire not be white or off-white. There are so many beautiful colors to choose from, and we can’t wait to see everyone dressed up! When in doubt, if you’re wondering whether something is a little too close to white, it’s probably best to choose another option.

Question

Can I wear something that has white in the pattern?

Answer

To keep things simple, we’re asking our guests to avoid white altogether, including outfits with white in the pattern. Whether it’s florals, stripes, polka dots, or “just a little bit,” we kindly ask that you choose something without white. There are so many beautiful colors and patterns to choose from, and we can’t wait to see what everyone wears! When in doubt, feel free to text Sydney Rose.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope you’ll enjoy the evening as a chance to relax, celebrate, and dance the night away with us! Thank you for understanding and helping us make our day so special.

Question

Can I smoke at the reception?

Answer

No, you cannot. Our venue is a non-smoking property, and we kindly ask that all of our guests respect this rule throughout the entire celebration. This includes cigarettes, cigars, and any other smoking products. We appreciate everyone helping us take care of the beautiful beach house we get to call ours for the weekend—and keeping Sydney and Jake from getting a $200 cleanup fee!

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

Please park at The Reef Public Parking. We will have the ceremony on The Reef Beach. afterwards, we will have a shuttle that will take you from this parking lot to the reception space. 205 Euclid Ave, St. Augustine, FL 32084

Question

Can I take pictures of the castle nextdoor?

Answer

No, please don’t! While the castle next door makes a beautiful backdrop, it is a private residence and is home to a family. Please respect our neighbors and their privacy by remaining on our venue’s property at all times. We promise there will be plenty of beautiful photo opportunities without accidentally becoming a wedding crasher at someone else’s house!

Question

How long is the reception?

Answer

Our reception will be four hours of dinner, drinks, dancing, and celebrating! Because of our venue’s requirements and the venue being located in a residential neighborhood, the celebration must officially come to an end by 10:00 PM, and all guests must depart the property at that time. So come ready to celebrate—we plan on making every minute count!

Question

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate the guests specifically named on each invitation. If a plus one has been included for you, it will be clearly indicated on your invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

When should I rsvp by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by January 1, 2027.

Question

What if I miss the rsvp deadline?

Answer

If we do not receive a response by the listed deadline, we may not be able to accommodate you. If you do not RSVP by then, we will assume you will not be joining us. If something comes up, please do not hesitate to reach out!

Question

Who should I contact with questions?
