Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is black tie optional. We encourage our guests to dress in colorful and classy attire to fit the museum backdrop. We don't have wedding parties, so please feel free to dress to match our wedding colors—burgundy and chartreuse—if you'd like!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm. We encourage guests to arrive around 5:00pm when the museum closes to the public.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! MIA has on-site parking, both covered ($15) and uncovered ($10). (But note: vehicles cannot be left in the MIA lots overnight.) There is also free street parking nearby. https://new.artsmia.org/visit/directions-maps-and-parking.

Will the event be indoors our outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors. The reception will be indoors. MIA provides a staffed coat check.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

This event will be catered toward adults. If your children are named on your invitation, you are welcome to bring them!
