Things To Do

We've loved Milwaukee for a long time, and many of our guests have, too. Here are our favorite spots for out-of-towners.
Oak Leaf Trail

Oak Leaf Trail

Oak Leaf Trail, Milwaukee, WI

Rent a bubbler bike and explore the trail - it's most beautiful on the southern end.

Lion's Den Gorge Nature Preserve

Lion's Den Gorge Nature Preserve

511 High Bluff Drive, Grafton, WI 53024
, (262) 284-8257

We've gone here for short hikes every year since we started dating. Lately, it's been a part of our weekend morning routine. It's forested, has great lake views, and you can take it easy - it's perfect!

Riverwalk

Riverwalk

Riverwalk, Milwaukee, WI 53212

Whether you are on the river or not, this is a great part of town. Lots of lovely bars, restaurants, and local shops.

Betty Brinn Children's Museum

Betty Brinn Children's Museum

929 East Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53202
, (414) 390-5437

Great place to take kids to explore indoors.

Discovery World

Discovery World

500 North Harbor Drive, Milwaukee, WI 53202
, (414) 765-9966

Beautiful museum, where the whole family can enjoy themselves.

Lake Park

Lake Park

2975 North Lake Park Road, Milwaukee, WI 53211
, (414) 257-7275

We take a walk through Lake Park almost daily. It was designed by the same person who created Central Park, has lovely views, paved and unpaved areas, and is walking distance from our venue.
