Tyler and I were officially introduced to each other in the fall of 2021 at Saginaw Valley State University through mutual friends. I was already well aware of who he was since I would see him frequently at the gym and we even had a Biology class together back in 2020. Tyler sat front and center making friends with everyone as I sat in the back quietly wondering how he had so much energy. Tyler shortly after showed me how big his heart was consistently pursuing me even when I just wanted to be friends. After going on random car rides together, talking about life, and walking around Dow Gardens, I had never had so much fun with someone just doing the simple things in life. Tyler officially asked me to be his girlfriend on December 20th, 2021 while ice skating at Campus Martius after we both met each other's parents during our Christmas break. Tyler and I did not have a traditional timeline navigating life, but I couldn't imagine not having him by my side these last few years and supporting each other endlessly. Looking back, we're so proud of our journey which turned us into the people that we are today. As we look ahead, we're filled with so much gratitude knowing that we have forever to go.
