You might find hotels require a 2 night minimum when staying over on Saturday night. An Airbnb or VRBO might be a great option to accommodate more guests and reduce costs. Flight

San Luis Obispo Airport

The San Luis Obispo airport is about 10-15 minutes from Pismo Beach. It's a small airport, so there are not as many direct flights if you are coming from far. If you're coming a long way, you may want to fly into LAX and either rent a car to road trip to Pismo Beach, or you may also take the train. Uber is also very easy to use in the area.

If you're coming from OC, but don't want to drive to Pismo, the train is a great option! Driving usually takes about 4 hours without traffic. The train takes about 6 hours.
