We went to Florida to meet Sydney's family for vacation. Two days before the end of the vacation, we had family photos. They were going to take place near sunset on a public beach that was absolutely beautiful. Theo and Jen (Sydney's mom) talked and decided when and where the proposal was going to happen while family photos were happening. Sydney was blissfully unaware (or so she says). With a location decided and the sun going down, Theo got down on one knee and asked simply, "Sydney, will you marry me?". Of course, she said "yes!" and here we are.
