Sam's Perspective: I met Sydney for the first time going to the eye doctor, because for some odd reason I decided I need to get my eye's checked. She was in town for 10 days and I was home for the summer. We went on a date, and two weeks later I found myself on a plane to visit her in Colorado. The last year has been nothing short of incredible, and I am extremely grateful for all the support we have received from friends, mentors, and family in our journey together. I am looking forward to all the things ahead as we move to Dallas, TX to begin our marriage. How 'Bout Them Cowboys? -Sam Sydney's Perspective: Little did I know that going to the Eye Doctor on a visit home from Colorado I would cross paths with the soon to be love of my life. August 9th, I went to the Eye Doctor with my sisters to schedule an appointment. Sitting in the waiting room was a 6’5 handsome man waiting for his appointment. We exchanged hellos and just like that two weeks later he was flying out to Colorado to take me on dates for the weekend. Nothing about our story is conventional and I believe that it fits Sam and I to a tee. God has been so heavily intertwined in our journey together as a couple. Sam and I believe that it was His intervention to bring us together that day and have our paths cross. I could not be more excited to marry my best friend. Sam is the most driven, dedicated, hard working, loyal, kind and loving man I know. More than all of that Sam pushes me to live more for Christ and live a life far from ordinary. July 21st can’t come soon enough! - Syd
