Sydney and Ryan were introduced by a mutual friend Chance, one who has been like an older brother to Sydney for almost her whole life. Ryan played lacrosse with him at Hilbert College and they are very close. There have been numerous times where Ryan has been right next door to Sydney's while at Chance's, neither of them knowing each other or what their roles would be in each other's lives. After meeting, they instantly clicked, talking for hours on end about numerous topics- music being one. As Ryan got ready to join the army and head to basic training, things were uncertain. However, he called Sydney every single chance he could, and things just continued to grow. With every leave Ryan took, they found time to see each other. A year long station in South Korea didn't stop them either, Sydney ended up visiting and it was magical. Already going through some hard circumstances due to distance, they know that they are strong and capable for what life can throw at them. They are so excited to embark on this journey together.
