FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Not sure yet! We will update this when we know.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We kindly ask that you only bring a date if your invitation or the wedding website specifically includes one. We truly hope you understand that due to budget and venue guest limits, we had to make some careful decisions when finalizing our guest list. We are so sorry if this feels restrictive in any way, as that was never our intention. We did our very best to be as accurate and thoughtful as possible. If you believe there has been an error or something seems off, please feel free to reach out to us directly. We are always happy to help clarify.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we kindly ask that only children ages 8 and up attend the wedding. To help make this clear, only the children who are invited will have their names listed on the invitation. This was not an easy decision, but it allows us to stay within our venue and budget while ensuring an enjoyable experience for all of our guests. We truly appreciate your understanding and support, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the dress code is semi-formal/dressy casual. This style bridges formal and casual attire. For men, we recommend suits or dress shirts with slacks. For women, nice dresses or jumpsuits are perfect. We encourage you to dress comfortably while still feeling polished and wedding-ready.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

This has not been finalized yet! Stay tuned!

Question

Is this a Catholic wedding?

Answer

Yes! We are so honored to be getting married in a Catholic church. We know that some of our guests may not be Catholic or may have never attended a Catholic Mass before, and that is completely okay. Please do not feel nervous at all. We would truly love for you to be there and to share this meaningful moment with us. The priest will help guide everyone through the Mass and explain certain parts along the way. Even if it feels unfamiliar, Catholic Mass is deeply rooted in tradition, and we think it is a beautiful experience. We are so grateful to celebrate it with you.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have several great hotel recommendations listed on the “Travel” page of this website, along with details on how far each option is from the venue. Please note that the venue is about 13 miles from the closest hotel, so we encourage you to plan transportation or car rides in advance.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! You can view all of our registry information on the “Registry” page of this website. It will guide you to everything you need and make it easy to find the perfect gift if you’d like to celebrate with us in that way.

Question

What is being served for dinner?

Answer

We’re serving up some Southern Missouri favorites! Enjoy chicken and dumplings, kettle beef, a fresh salad, classic sides, and a warm roll. Be sure to save room for cupcakes for dessert!

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We’ll be hosting an open bar at the reception with a selection of beer, wine, and a few signature mixed drinks for you to enjoy.
