We are so excited to celebrate with you! Wedding planning comes with countless decisions, but the easiest by far was choosing who we wanted by our side. We kindly recommend booking your lodging accommodations as early as possible to ensure availability.

FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help us with out planning, please RSVP to the events as soon as possible. However, the deadline is July 11, 2026. If we do not receive your RSVP by this date, we can not make exceptions and will have to mark you as 'No.' We need to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner, we hope you understand.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. If you've received a plus one, they'll be specifically addressed on the invitation. Otherwise, we ask that only the named people in the invitation are in attendance.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, our wedding is exclusively for adults, with the exception of immediate family.

Question

Is the ceremony and reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both our ceremony and reception will be outdoors, so we can soak in the mountain views! Colorado is known for its beautiful weather, but it can be a little unpredictable. If a summer storm rolls through, no worries since Three Peaks Ranch has a gorgeous glass pavilion that keeps everyone warm and dry without losing the view. We’ll also have outdoor heaters in the evening in case it gets chilly, so just come ready for a little mountain weather.

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to dress in formal attire. For men, that means a suit and tie. For women, we suggest a long dress or a formal cocktail dress. Since parts of the venue are on dirt or grass, we recommend choosing comfortable shoes or block heels.

Question

What is the dress code for the welcome party?

Answer

Cocktail attire is requested. Western chic is welcome, but completely optional. Feel free to add a touch of rustic flair with boots, hats, or fun accessories if you’d like, or simply come dressed in classic cocktail attire that’s polished, comfortable, and ready to celebrate.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you kindly put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony as we want you all to be present with us in the moment. We have a professional photographer capturing the ceremony for us that we will share with you!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Of course! We want you to have the best time, so the drinks are on us, but the hangover is all yours.

Question

Is there an after-party?

Answer

After the celebration, we’re working on plans for an after-party at Silverdome Saloon & Music Hall for anyone who would like to keep the party going!

Question

How should I prepare for altitude in Colorado?

Answer

Westcliffe sits at about 8,700 feet, so the air is a little thinner than usual. Drink plenty of water, take it easy the first day, and pace yourself with drinks. The venue will have oxygen, plenty of water, and altitude patches on hand if you need a little extra help. We’ll also have assistance available for short walks around the venue for anyone who might have difficulty with the altitude. Listen to your body, and you’ll be ready to celebrate, dance, and enjoy every Colorado moment!

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

There are two guest parking areas as you arrive. The first is to the left near the Humboldt Cabin. Please park facing the cabin with space between cars. The second is the lower lot straight ahead that is a grassy field with signs. Feel free to park on either side of the fence. Please avoid parking in front of the Crestone Peak Cabin or in any areas marked “No Parking” to keep pathways clear for everyone.
