Hello, welcome to our wedding page. We are so happy for you to join us on our wedding day!

Nathan and Sydney met in the theatre department at Lamar University. Nathan was in a play at the time and Sydney was part of the crew helping out. Later they both became paired up together to audition for the play 39 Steps. They both got the leading roles. As the rehearsal process progressed, they grew closer and closer and agreed to go on a date. And have been together ever since.

Nathan took Sydney on a beautiful trip to Austin, Tx where they did site seeing, watched artsy cinema, and did a lot of eating. They found a place they wanted to check out called The Museum of the Weird, and of course they both were stoked to go. While inside, Nathan found an alien room with a giant statue of a Xenomorph statue from the movie Alien. Nathan and Sydney are big nerds. Nathan asked Sydney if she wanted a photo next to it and she said Heck yeah! Nathan ran behind the curtain to alien room and when she stepped through, he was on his knee with a Doctor Who Tardis shaped wedding ring box and the most perfect engagement ring she ever could have imagined. Through joyful tears she said yes! With the Xenomorph statue being the only witness. Not many people can say the got proposed to next to a Xenomorph, and Nathan and Sydney are proud of that fact.
