Nice nature park with a walking trail around the lake (approximately 2.5 mile loop).
Raven Rock State Park
Nearby state park with several hiking trails. Recommend Raven Rock trail or Raven Falls.
Cape Fear River Adventures
If the weather is nice, Cape Fear River Adventures offers several excursions such as white water rafting and tubing. Tubing adventures are approximately 5 hours long and based upon the strength of the river current.
Jordan Lake State Recreation Area
Jordan Lake is a huge nearby reservoir and buried beneath the lake's waters are former towns and farms. Nature trails, beaches, boating docks, camping.
Go Ape Zipline & Adventure Park
Thrilling zip line and ropes course - takes about 2 - 3 hours to complete.
