Technically we have grown up together, from elementary school to high school. But our paths didn’t officially cross until a friend invited us to the same firework show at our local mall. There Micah and I exchanged numbers and after a few months of back and forth, I finally asked him out.
My family is known for getting together as frequently as possible. Holidays are no exception. On Christmas Eve eve, we began our night at his parents' house. From there we went to my aunt's, where he got down on one knee and asked if he could join the Robba family. He did follow up with “will you marry me?” and clearly, I said yes!
