We met at Mitchell Intermediate during the sixth grade play in 2011. Max was stage crew and I was acting. We had after school practice a couple of times a week, and during some down time Max and his friends started hanging out with my friends and I. The following years Max and I just seemed to click - even in the moments he wished I would just leave him alone. Eventually years of friendship turned into a sweet crush. Our High School A/V teacher was kind enough to help aide our blossoming love story. Max and I were too shy to admit our feelings so our teacher, Mrs. Hobbs, paired us up for a project. After realizing that we worked together really well, Max and I were elected to help film the senior prom. May 15, 2016 after filming prom, Max asked me to be his and the rest is history.
We decided to take a vacation to Port Aransas Island, which happens to be my favorite place in the world. After a couple of bumps in the road, Max planned a phenomenal evening taking me to dinner and then for a walk on the beach. We walked from the restaurant to a board walk that would lead us to the beach. As we were walking towards the end of the board walk there was a ring of candles set up. Max got down on one knee and asked me to be his forever, and of course I said "HECK YES!" We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you at The Farmhouse!
