My friend Allie and I were shopping at the mall and Matt was fixing Allie's car. Matt had her car ready so I went with her to go pick up her car. We decided to meet at a Ross parking lot and that was when I was first introduced to Matt. We became friends fast and 6 months later we were dating. Now 3 years later and we are getting married!!!

He asked me to go to Cantina 76 Downtown with him to have lunch together. We get seated and have some tacos and reminisce about all the dates we went on here. He brings up our first date and tells me he thought this was the perfect spot to do this and pops the ring box on the table. I am in shock at this point and told him I couldn't move to open it. So he opens the ring box and inside was a lovely solitaire emerald-cut peach sapphire. I am dying looking at my dream ring and that is when he gets on one knee and asks me to marry him! I say yes and apparently I was crying so hard I forgot to give him my hand. So he tells me "Sydney, I'm gonna need your hand if we're gonna do this" and of course I start laughing and give him my hand. He slides on the ring and it's a perfect fit, just like we are.
