Things To Do

SNOWMASS RODEO

2735 Brush Creek Road, Snowmass Village, CO 81615

The Snowmass Rodeo is the longest running rodeo in Colorado and takes place every Wednesday from 7:00-9:00pm. We recommend purchasing tickets in advance on snowmassrodeo.org as the events do sell out! Parking is extremely limited. You can take the free RFTA bus from Aspen to Town Park Station.

SNOWMASS FREE CONCERT SERIES

Fanny Hill, Snowmass Village, CO 81611

Live music on Fanny Hill every Thursday night! This local favorite and long-standing summer tradition begins at 6:30pm. We recommend going an hour early to claim a spot on the hill, plus packing a picnic and bringing a blanket to hang on.

MAROON BELLS

Located 10 miles from Aspen up Maroon Creek Road, the Maroon Bells are a must-see! We recommend renting e-bikes from a local shop such as Aspen Bikes and taking a scenic roundtrip ride over to Maroon Bells. The free Castle/Maroon bus leaves downtown Aspen from the Rubey Park Bus Station every 20 minutes and connects to the Maroon Bells shuttle at Aspen Highlands. You will need to purchase a ticket in advance to take the Maroon Bells shuttle. Shuttle reservations can be found at https://aspenchamber.org/plan-trip/trip-highlights/maroon-bells/reservations.

RIDE THE ASPEN MOUNTAIN GONDOLA

611 E Durant Avenue, Aspen, CO 81611

The Silver Queen Gondola travels 2.5 miles from the heart of Aspen to the 11,000-foot-high summit of Aspen Mountain. You can go for a short hike atop the mountain with clearly marked trails that lead to forests, meadows, and more scenic views. There's also the Sundeck at the top of the mountain for a great spot to relax and grab a drink.

ASPEN FARMER'S MARKET

Our favorite activity every Saturday from 8:30am-2:00pm! The market offers Colorado-grown fruits, vegetables, bread, meats, jams, and more, as well as local vendors for lunch or a snack. The market makes a U-shape from the corner of Galena & Hopkins Ave to Hunter St & then back again to the intersection of Hyman & Galena.

EAT AT SOME OF OUR FAVORITES

Sant Ambroeus: We love grabbing coffee and pastries here in the morning or for an afternoon pick-me-up. White House Tavern: Our favorite lunch spot and worth the wait for a table on the patio. Clark's Oyster Bar: Chef Lou recommends his favorite Crab Louie salad. Meat & Cheese: Perfect spot for an easy outdoor lunch. Ajax Tavern: Famous outdoor patio at the base of Aspen Mountain. J-Bar: We love grabbing drinks here and checking out Hotel Jerome. French Alpine Bistro: Fun spot for cocktails and small bites.

ASPEN MOUNTAIN YOGA

An all-levels outdoor yoga class atop Aspen Mountain from 10:30-11:30am Monday-Friday. Mats and blocks are provided! More details can be found at https://www.aspensnowmass.com/visit/activities/summer/yoga.
